Terms & Conditions
General
The video overview of your bicycle is an estimate and NOT a quote. Estimates are compiled based on my experience and current labour/parts costs.
The Estimate is based on what is discussed/described in the video overview and from my findings when looking over your bicycle. Any amendment, change, variation, addition or unforeseen work not listed in the estimate may be chargeable. You will be notified in writing of any variation that will incur additional costs. I will endeavour to keep any such costs to a minimum but cannot be expected to undertake at no cost, any additional work or provide materials over and above that stated in the estimate.
Service plans do not include parts unless other wise stated.
Overall Labour estimates are approximate and additional costs may be incurred depending on time required.
The estimated turnaround times are in working days and do not include weekends/bank holidays. Parts delays can add to this and will be considered a factor out of my control.
Labour
Labour Rates are charged at the following, unless agreed beforehand:
Standard labour rate per hour of a pre-booked job £70
Emergency labour rate for a repair not booked in £75
Labour rates for individual jobs are calculated to the nearest 15 minutes.
Parts
All parts used are considered an extra charge unless stating as “included”
If parts price increases are incurred – between estimate and work commencing / purchase a further estimate may be supplied.
Material invoices are not supplied to customers unless previously agreed.
Customers may supply their own parts but I will take no responsibility for any incorrect/damaged parts being supplied, particularly from internet based retailers.
My parts promise will aim to match a competitors price from a UK based retailer. The item (s) need to be in stock with the competitor, exactly the same spec and not include any personal discount codes, memberships or multi buy offers. I reserve the right to refuse a price match at my discretion.
Insurance
I hold full public liability insurance
Photographs / Video / Social Media Outlets
Photographs / Video of your bicycle may be taken during various stages – to aid estimating and to record different stages of initial, stages and completed work. These may be used on my social media channels and website. They may also be used to aid future customers for parts recommendations and the final finishes obtained. Direct references may be made to the initial clients via social media handles, but if you would prefer photographs not to be taken or your personal handle not to be used, please let me know. All photographic material - either video or stills and work designs are copyrighted and are not forwarded to third parties unless your permission is granted. Likewise references and client comments are available – please contact me for further details. Comments may be made on usual social media outlets, but I must be informed before posting – but please be aware of the possible implications for both parties concerned.
Payment
Payment in full is due on completion of the work.
Stage payments / part payments may be requested at any time.
I accept payment via BACs, or cash payment. I can also accept credit/debit card payments but the value needs to be over £100.
Late payments may also be recovered by taking local legal / court action and again fees / additional costs may be accrued.
Outstanding Debts may be part / fully settled with the removal / return of materials. Permission is granted for either Mr. Thomas Holland and / or authorized agents to enter premises and remove such items.
Conclusion
Acceptance and agreement of these terms and conditions are taken when instructions are received to commence work, either verbally, in writing or via electronic mail.
This document is valid for 30 days and is subject to change.
